About Singapore COE Bidding Results

This archive contains every COE bidding result since 2002, covering all five vehicle categories. Each row shows the Quota Premium (the price paid by successful bidders), the number of bids received, and the quota available for that exercise.

Tracking results over time reveals the cyclical nature of COE prices. Periods of high prices are typically followed by waves of deregistrations a decade later, which boost quota supply and eventually moderate prices. Use the trends page to visualise these patterns, or the category comparison tool to analyse price differences across categories.

For newcomers to the COE system, our beginner guide explains how the bidding process works, what each category covers, and how results translate into the price you pay at the dealership.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are COE bidding results released?
Results are released twice a month, after each bidding exercise. Bidding typically runs Monday to Wednesday, with results published on the Wednesday afternoon when the exercise closes.
What is the Quota Premium (QP)?
The Quota Premium is the price every successful bidder pays for a COE. It is set at the lowest winning bid in each category — a uniform-price mechanism that means you never pay more than the market-clearing price, even if you bid higher.
What is the difference between QP and PQP?
The QP is the result of a single bidding exercise. The Prevailing Quota Premium (PQP) is a 3-month moving average of QPs, used as the renewal price when extending a COE for another 5 or 10 years without re-bidding.
Can I download historical COE results?
Yes — use the "Download CSV" button above the table to export the filtered results. The archive goes back to 2002 and includes quota premiums, bids received, and quota available for all five categories.
