Ranges below come from up to twelve stored exercises within the last six months. They are historical observations, not predicted winning prices.
Choose Your COE Category
Most vehicles require a Certificate of Entitlement before registration; exemptions exist. Pick the category that matches the type of vehicle you want to register.
How COE categories work
LTA divides vehicles into 5 categories (A-E). Each category has a separate quota and auction. Your car's engine capacity and power output determine which category you must bid in — unless you choose the open Cat E.
How COE Bidding Works in Singapore
Reserve prices are confidential; the running Current COE Price is published. The final price applies to successful bidders in the category. Bid deposits differ for motorcycles and the other categories, and administration charges are separate.
Use the official calendar for each exercise rather than assuming every opening is a Monday. This simulator is practice with historical prices; it does not submit a bid, predict the next premium or identify an optimal bidding strategy.
The Current COE Price is the highest unsuccessful reserve price plus one dollar. Successful bidders pay its final value at closing, called the Quota Premium.
Can I lower or withdraw a submitted bid?
No. A submitted reserve price can only be raised in whole-dollar increments. Each revision may attract an administration fee.
Does the simulator predict the next premium?
No. It selects a stored historical result from the latest twelve exercises available within six months and compares your practice reserve with that price. It does not model all auction bids or predict an outcome.
When does bidding open and close?
Use the published LTA calendar. Exercises normally open at noon and close at 4pm Singapore time, with holiday adjustments to the dates.
