Following a Live COE Bidding Exercise

COE uses open bidding. Bidders submit a maximum reserve price. The Current COE Price is one dollar above the highest unsuccessful reserve price; its final value at closing is the Quota Premium paid by successful bidders. Follow LTA instructions for eligibility and submission.

The Current COE Price (CCP) displayed during an active exercise is indicative only. This site displays the schedule and completed results, not a live CCP feed. Check the official LTA service for active bidding data.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does COE bidding open and close?
Use the published exercise calendar for opening and closing dates. Exercises normally open at noon and close at 4pm Singapore time. Holidays and exceptional changes mean a weekday pattern is not a guarantee.
What is the Current COE Price (CCP)?
The CCP is a real-time indicative price shown during an active bidding exercise. It represents the price that would become the Quota Premium if bidding closed at that moment. The CCP is the highest unsuccessful bid plus S$1.
Can I bid for a COE online?
Individuals can submit their own bids through participating ATMs. Corporate account holders can use participating banks’ internet banking. Dealers may also bid on behalf of customers. See LTA for eligibility and submission instructions.
What happens after the bidding exercise closes?
The final Current COE Price becomes the Quota Premium paid by successful bidders. Consult LTA results for the actual closing date and outcome; the site shows completed stored results, not a guaranteed real-time publication service.
