How this calculator works
Select the cohort for the COE used to register the car. Different cohorts have different rebate rates and caps. The calculator reads the chosen cohort from the shared database rules and displays the exact table it uses.
rebate = min(actual_ARF_paid × rate_for_age_and_cohort, cohort_cap)PARF eligibility extends to age ten years under the applicable schedule; a car older than ten is ineligible. A vehicle with renewed COE is also not PARF eligible. Fractional age inputs matter near the yearly boundaries: confirm the actual deregistration date and entitlement in your LTA record.
PARF is separate from the unused COE rebate and any dealer or scrap-body offer. It does not guarantee the total price a buyer will pay for the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions
- Why must I choose the original COE cohort?
- The applicable rates and cap depend on that cohort. The selected table is used for both the percentage calculation and the cap.
- Does this include the COE rebate or body value?
- No. This tool estimates PARF only. Unused COE entitlement and any body offer are separate amounts.
